Hi, I’m Dina.

This isn’t just a job for me—I genuinely love supporting people to study and feel better.

Every student, every brain, every challenge is unique and finding out, together, how I can best help you is very important to me.

I particularly enjoy that my work as a Coach brings together the things in life that bring me joy with my experience in working with people across different challenges and life phases.

Throughout my career, I have worked with many different people across different sectors—from music over NGO work to qualitative research—and I’ve learned that we all have some basic things in common:

We all want to do something we’re passionate about, we want to have a sense that we’re doing a good job and we want to feel good doing it. And getting you back to fulfilling those needs is what I’m focused on.

Through Academic Coaching, I can bring my genuine curiosity for people, my experience in working with people and my passion for higher education together—and help you on the way!

My Approach

Being an Academic Coach means bringing together tangible, practical tools and techniques while being attentive and curious about what you need, one session at a time.

I tailor my approach in line with what’s most important to you—whether that’s studying for the next assignment or grounding you in a daily and weekly structure that restores your work-life balance.

Coaching is an adaptive support system firmly grounded in the latest research on student performance and wellbeing, robust methodology, and a student-centred approach.

If you want quick academic output, coaching is for you. If you want to restructure how you study from the ground up, coaching is for you. And if you want to feel better whilst doing all this work, coaching is definitely for you.

I’m looking forward to working and sharing my experience with you. Let’s work together!

Methodology

As a Certified Coach, I work with a variety of coaching techniques that are all centred around the student. From our first session, I will work with the frameworks that suit where you’re at that day and week and that are flexible as our work together evolves.

Empathy

Whilst we are working on achieving your important goals, a core value that drives me is empathy. Balancing university, life and your wellbeing is difficult, and many students struggle with this today. My coaching acknowledges these realities rather than ignores them and meets you where you’re at.

Tools

You will benefit from my large toolbox for study, planning and self-care, like daily and weekly organisers, study plans, methods for reading and writing, focus hacks and valuable feedback on your work so you can build a system that works beyond our time together.

Lived Experience

Before I became a Coach, I made use of supportive frameworks like coaching and community support networks myself. They have been vital to getting me where I wanted to be. As a researcher and academic in training, I also understand the unique pressures that higher education brings.
